My favourite chair

There was this old 1920's/1930's club chair kicking around the house when we first moved in 7 years ago...I loved it but it needed restoring. This summer saw the restauration project finally come to life and it is now the inspiration for a colour makeover in the lounge! Hence the newly zipped-up fuschia pink velvet cushions!

New creations...3D floral floor cushions!

The newest creations to creep out of the studio are mostly for girls...apliquée flower cushions in various patchwork colour combinations. Some flowers are placed centrally and others are more haphazard in their positioning, sorry boys, these are seriously funky but feminine! I have some ideas for male equivalents so watch this space...!

Beautiful evening...the view over Paris and the sweet little village where I live. This kind of evening reminds me why we settled here, spent so long doing up this house, and of all the things we want for our kids...puts everything into perspective really.
